Here’s Attorney General William Barr’s summary of Mueller’s report on the Russia investigation

  • Attorney General William Barr delivered his summary of the special counsel Robert Mueller’s main findings in the Russia investigation on Sunday afternoon.
  • According to Barr’s summary, Mueller found that neither President Donald Trump nor his presidential campaign conspired or colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election. But Mueller did not reach a conclusion as to whether Trump illegally obstructed justice. 
  • Mueller also said that ‘while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him,’ according to Barr’s letter.

Attorney General William Barr delivered his summary of the special counsel Robert Mueller’s main findings in the Russia investigation to Congress on Sunday afternoon.

In his four-page letter, Barr wrote that Mueller found that neither President Donald Trump nor his presidential campaign conspired or colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 election, but Mueller did not reach a conclusion as to whether Trump illegally obstructed justice.
